Another Newbie!!!

Hi - I'm new to this too. I just found this forum and it's great that something like this is out there for us!

I was actually hoping to get some input from other female boaters as to how they wear their hair under their helmet. I can't seem to make it work where it doesn't get stuck in the back of my helmet when I put it in pigtails. If I brade it - it makes the helmet move from side to side to easily. I know that sounds corny...but...

Has anyone had problem with hair getting in your eyes while boating? Like maybe after you roll...???

I don't have these problems, (I do not have long hair)
But I have a very good friend who does. Unfortunately,
he would not fit in here, as of he does not have a kayak.
But he does tell me he has problems putting on helmets on
things like bikes. He does not keep it in braids, but I think
this should work anyway. 1. Make sure your hair is not in
clumps. 2. Then try to tuck it behind your head so it is out
of the helmets way. If this does not work send me a pm
about it.

Thanks for the tip. Seems like just putting in a regular ponytail low down on my neck is working. At least in the pool. I haven't hit running water yet - but so far so good.
