Hi,
I just want to inform everyone about the quality of kayaks sold by Qayak company from Florida (Inflatable kayaks and inflatable kayak accessories by Qayak (http://www.qayak.com/)).
We bought on the net 2 inflatable kayaks from Qayak during our 6 months trip in America. They are very cheap and seem good.
Unfortunetly, one of the 2 kayaks arrived with general defects on the joins or welding and had a hole in the floor (look at the pictures in link).
On both of them, I could see that the quality of fabrication is not good. The fins are not right in the axe so the kayaks turn all the time, and the floor inside is not thick enough to be resistant. There are also other defects.
Qayak didn't wanted to send us a new one in Canada because of the taxes, and they proposed to refund back the cost.
That was fair, but since july 2009 they haven't sent the money as they said.
So take care about them and don't forget that's cheap but not of good quality.
