Buying a kayak for christmas for a friend and i know very little. I live in Louisiana so there are not that many options. Ive been looking at the old town otter xt is this any good? I want it for lakes and creeks at first but im not sure how it will do when its put in rougher waters. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Old Town is better known for canoes than kayaks but that's not to say that their kayaks aren't decent.
