Looks like you had a nice day. That’s a good idea with little ones (rope on the boat). I’ve done that one time myself with some kids I met at a take out point. They were all curious and I had time to kill and their parents were present & ok with it. I unloaded my gear, had them put on a life jacket, tied off a rope on the kayak and let them all take turns. The parents were pretty receptive to paddling after I explained that you really could get into it on the cheap especially if you compare it to the cost of dirt bikes or horses. Kids have to have hobbies also!
