Hey guys,
I am a motorcycle rider and white water kayaking enthusiast, and this upcoming summer I am planning a cross country motorcycle trip. I am hoping to make some connections so that I can go out kayaking in new places that I may not ever get the opportunity to visit again. If anyone is interested in helping me out, I would greatly appreciate it. I am relatively new to kayaking (I have paddled down a few Class II-III rivers in New Zealand and am willing to paddle similar classes in the US). Seeing as how I am on a motorcycle, I will not be able to transport my kayak, so I will only be able to paddle in places where I can rent equipment, or if someone is willing to share their own. I hope to do a little more kayaking in the near future to keep my skills up. I am able to roll my kayak in a pool (with a paddle and hand roll as well), but I have yet to have the opportunity to try on moving water. I hope to be able to get some practice in before the summer rolls around. If anyone wants to show me around it'd be great to exchange contact info, so I can make notes to my travel route.
I have attached a picture of my planned driving route. I am from Arizona and will be starting there, travelling in a clockwise direction. Hope to hear from you guys.
Cheers,
Karl
