We had the pleasure of paddling this boat this past week and really enjoyed it. Having launched from the beach with little surf deal with, however I feel that this boat could handle much more.

This is a British built boat with a low profile and high deck. Having great secondary stability, this would be a good boat for a beginner getting into Kayak Touring. Additionally, the maneuverability was great and it tracked very well in a cross wind.

The fore and aft compartments allow this boat to be used for both day and overnight paddling, something a beginner can grow into and most likely not out of.

Cons: Just know that this boat is designed for a paddler who is under 140 pounds, not really a limitation if you know it going in. It was a little tight for my frame, but others commented that it was an enjoyable fit and boat to paddle.

As always, we recommend you find one and try it before you buy, so this really shouldn't be an issue.
